ACTION ALERT: Romney Vetoes Safe Schools!

We must take action now to save gay/straight alliances! Governor Romney has vetoed the funding needed to keep schools safe for LGBT youth. He has also vetoed the new Commission for Gay and Lesbian Youth. We need to convince the legislature to override the governor's vetoes. We don't have much time. Anti-gay organizations are working overtime, calling legislators to urge them not to override the vetoes.
The facts are clear. LGBT youth are in danger. A study from the Massachusetts Department of Education finds that LGBT youth are over five time more likely to have attempted suicide than their peers. It has been proven that gay/straight alliances are crucial to making schools safer for gay teens.
Go here to find out what you can do to save gay/straight alliances. Take a few minutes to make a phone call, send an email, or write a letter. The safety of LGBT youth is at stake. Take Action Now!
